Void Fill

High density Polyurethane material is a great, efficient way to fill voids under concrete caused by erosion and or shifting. Filling voids with this material eliminates the need to remove the concrete and replace the subgrade.

Why Filling Voids Under Concrete is Important

Concrete structures and slabs such as stoops, porches and concrete floors built over poorly compacted stone or soil can overtime cause voids to appear. Voids in the support base, if not filled correctly, can cause structures and slabs to fail, resulting in cracking, shifting and rocking. These opens spaces can also create ideal living spaces for unwanted critters such as chip monks, mice and skunks. Bottom line is that voids below concrete can create larger future problems and fortunately there is an economical and easy solution.

Once the high density material has bound to the concrete and the soil, it again provides support and can be put back in service. Other applications like Sewer and Culvert Abandonment are ideal for void-filling as well as adandoning underground holding tanks, mine sites, manholes and culverts. The polyurethane is designed for optimal void filling and cost management for safely abandoning these infrastructure systems.
